after reading the write up for the new vederers trail at the forest of dean i decided to give it ago, it's only 7 miles long but the write up in this months MTB mag had me intrested.

to be honest quite disappointed with the trail, lots of steady climbs with bermed small descents, then more climbing.

The end section of the trail via the red route is very good with big berms steep drops, rollers, jumps etc, but the rest of the trail lets it down.

got back to the van in 1 hour so went straight onto there 2.6 mile red route, classed as more technically challenging!!!!.

the road across the carpark at borth is more of a challenge.

this trail was just, single track with root's with one drop , that was it.

bonus for the day was getting back in the van and the temp gauge said 22 degrees.

better than doing nothing but i won't be rushing back
